Happy Holidays

2004 front door.

Sometimes ones birth family isn’t the most joyous in the world….mine always steeped in the well stirred martini well before the event. Other times one’s family of choice fade….but not without love.

2006 Christmas: Dr. Jay, Duck, and John open presents at the Georgette’s.

Sometimes ones birth family becomes ones family of choice.

2006, Left to Right: Beth, Aaron, their mom and dad Guy and Ella, laugh at Mohave’s antics.

Sometimes, peace, joy, and love sneak in and give us a happy middle. Peace is all I asked for during my mad years, and peace has crept up and surprised me. Not all of us can be together here this year, but I believe we are linked together in spirit.

Happy Holidays to you all.

Duck: We found him at dinner. He was disengaged. We talked to his tablemates around him…one of whom is going home tomorrow. He was able to respond with the right kind of answers and smiles when spoken to though.

Me: Hip better. Still wants to quit. I’m working tomorrow anyway. Getting ready today, and I’ll be back on the 26th.

G: Engaged totally with his world. We talked about taking Duck out to see the lights and decided against it. Duck becomes terribly disoriented after he’s taken from his environment no matter who is with him. He will be going with a van load from the nursing home during the hours I am working.

Weather: 67 for the high. 43 for the low.

Santa Tracker: Here's the Norad Santa Tracker which includes checking out all the workshops, Santa satellite tracking, and all the tools you need to see where Santa is Christmas Eve.

Thanks Jasspirit for making this wonderful site available on OD to children of all ages.
