  1. I am Phil from "Sandwich Scouts". Thank you for commenting on my site. I have enlarged the type in the blogs, an excellent suggestion. I haven't figured out how to enlarge the font for the badge descriptions yet. The badges are for all caregivers, regardless of race, creed or sexual orientation.

    When typing my URL;
    web.mac.com/vanphil/SandwichScouts, be sure to capitalize the S's, hopefully that will get you there.
    Thank You, Mage

  8. I ask myself how in the world I missed this post? I feel as though I've lost an acquaintance of my own as I felt like I really knew him from your lovely posts. The only thing I know to say is that I'm so very very sorry, and I'm truly aware how meaningless those words seem. They just can't convey how I really feel, especially that I didn't know for so long. Kick kick kick! (myself) My condolences to you and G both. For your dedication and care, you both must have many "stars in your crown."

  9. Oh dear. I've been pretty much ignoring the internet this month so have just discovered Duck has gone on ahead of us. Mage, thank you for allowing us the gift of Duck. The depth of the friendship you and George shared with him is not only inspiring, it's proof positive the human race is worthy and even noble. As I write this, you and George are off on your well-deserved trip. Stay safe and enjoy every moment.
