Happy New Year

Himself: Came home singing.

Herself: Passed Domestics 101 and 205 too. Planned menus, shopped, got dinner started, and wrote three good pieces. Got rid of old fiber, back to older fiber, and now trying another new fiber. One of these days, something will work.

Balance: Physically I feel good.
I forgot to buy the cabbage. How can we have a last, very fattening cream cheese, noodles, kielbasa, and cabbage without the cabbage. Somewhere in today, I will have to buy cabbage.

The plan: Swim first. Run from the pool to the shower to the classroom at speed. Look intelligent, then go buy cabbage. Somewhere in there, I need to copy my piece to be read, I need to make my lunch to take with me, and most importantly, I need to keep laughing at myself.

I’ll let you know if I’m still laughing by dinner time.

Have a lovely New Year’s eve, don’t drink and drive, and know we sure do appreciate you.

  1. A very Happy New Year to You! Our first one alone, without the kids. I'm going to light a candle and send thoughts to those no longer here and those very much in need. We're going to do Nothing for New Year's Eve. Lovely. We might even be in bed by ten. Who knows. And, certainly, no one cares. All the best to you and G. A new year of health and happiness for us all!

  2. And you and your postcards have become a habit with me too, Mage. I'm one of your cheerleaders, never forget! You've shown in so many different ways how special you are; it comes through in your writing.
