Stuck Keyboard...GRRRRRR.....

On the Road Again, 2010.

Yesterday and Today

Himself: One way to increase good cholesterol is to do aerobic exercise. The Geezer started back to the gym yesterday on the treadmill. He was home early and stopped work by 8.

Herself: with the quilt blog too: Talked with Bee…mostly about cooking Vegan…. Michael is actually gaining weight. Swam. Photo Album. Nothing on the quilt at all for forever. I’m thinking of packing it all up for the holidays….hide that load of guilt. The Barefoot Contessa’s turkey meatloaf is even better cold in sandwiches.

My Babylonian Captivity: Chapter November 15 through November 22: Do stop in and read Tugster's experience as a human shield. He writes that, “ i was captured in kuwait (where i was teaching in the kuwaiti air force)….”

I’m only a little slow. Remembering how to lighten the pictures to use as background was trial and error yesterday. Eventually I figured it out.

For my own memory: Photoshop Elements: Enhance: ADJUST COLOR: HUE/SATURATION: LIGHTNESS….AND MOVE THE SLIDER TO THE DEGREE OF LIGHTNESS DESIRED. NEXT SOFTEN THE EDGES WITH THE DODGE TOOL. I SET IT ON 85%. SAVE.

MY KEYBOARD HAS STUCK ON CAPS in Word….SO I’LL QUIT NOW. HOPEFULLY IT’S FIXABLE AND I WILL BE BACK LATER…..GRRRRRRRRRRRR......

  2. Maybe you've tried this already. Turn the keyboard upside down and tap gently on the bottom. A speck of material may have gotten stuck.

Good luck -- I know how annoying this can be.

  3. I did that....and it's acting up only on that one Word Doc. Ah, well.

Yes, a glorious museum with sammies. What more could one want.

  4. You may be stuck in neutral, but I like your photos of the road.

  5. Pack up that quilt guilt and have some fun. It'll be there when you desire that project again some time in the future.

  6. If it's just the Word application, check the settings and make sure you've not got everything set to go to caps. A restart might help too.

  7. Are the sammies Poolie mentioned special sandwiches (like Turkey and Dressing and cranberry sauce) are is it just slang for sandwiches. Just curious.
