Glitz and Glam

1929 L-29 Cord Brougham.

The Geezer rushed home from his last wreck through a torrential downpour past only a couple of wrecks to don black and leather. I was wearing black and bling. What fun.

We were so lucky to sit with the owner of the Cord and his wife plus the owner of many Packard’s….none in this show. The food was so outstanding that I went back for seconds plus two of the tiny but very rich desserts. The great Captain Poolie joined us for a short while as did a couple of the board members. We talked and listened and talked until there was a moment we looked up to find the museum almost empty.

  1. I'm sure it was a marvelous display. Board members should be very appreciative of Poolie's hard work. Her staff is equally dedicated and it shows.
