Inside Looking Out

Views from the train: Inside looking out the window.

What can I say, I have a common cold and life is very unexciting.

I read. I’ve been delving into the 1960’s mostly mindless, but well written, romances by Elizabeth Cadell and also the heart pulling stories by Henderson of the People. I use every suggested med, drink water, doze, and I’m sure snore too. Yesterday I had enough energy to sit here for a while.

Very unexciting.

All the while….The yearly test results have come in excellent. All have reported in but the mammogram, and today I see the pulmonary surgeon as the last yearly stop. the Geester hasn’t felt well, Ruthe has sent maps and bus schedules and other items of interest for our stop in Chicago. And Lenora has called with an address and an interest in meeting with us in Portland. Both stops are now people-full.

Not at all unexciting. I feel a bit as if I’ve been inside looking out the window. Soon will be out there participating.

  2. Hope the meds and rest work soon. You must be feeling a bit better because you are noticing that you are bored and life is unexciting!

  3. Keep up the rest and fluids so you can send that cold packing before your trip.
