Camera

I dropped my new camera at work.

After I swore for about five minutes in front of the little old ladies then apologized, I shelved the books that had been marked, called the geezer with my broken heart, and took the camera to the repair shop where the other one is waiting for parts. I pleaded Christmas gift. They moved it ahead of all the others in the shop, and if it is fixable, it will be ready Tuesday.

I have to believe it is repairable.

  1. Me, too!

And I'm sure you didn't really shock those little old ladies. (this coming from a woman who unfortunately can swear like a sailor.)

  3. So sorry, I'm hoping for a happy ending. I know a few good word arrangements myself but am trying to behave with six small girls about me.

  4. Word arrangements indeed. Some things just deserve word arrangements.

  5. Butter fingers! Don't you have a strap for the camera? It's a must!

  6. I hope the camera will live.....
Congratulations on the new underpinnings...I hope they last for a few years. I bought 3 new ones last Spring and saved one of them for just in case" I can't find more in time.
Poor Capt., she often gets her meal forgotten in the course of an evening.

  7. I hope your camera is okay. That would be a tough loss! The photo of the rose is gorgeous!

  8. Been remiss for a few days, and will be for a few more as I finish this darn paper. Sad to hear about your camera. May it be repairable. I drop stuff all the time. Awful.

I like yesterday's rose best. Lovely.

  9. So so sorry! DAmn! I do not use either my small CAnon or my good DSLR without a neck strap...really, ever!

  10. Oh that is not a good way to start a day. I hope it is fixable. Yes, I think a strap on a camera is a good thing. I just hate to wear one around my neck. I sat on my camera. It was fixed, but never the same.

  11. Oh yikes! I'm so sorry! That is depressing. I hope they can fix it. I do always use my straps just because I have such butter fingers. These rose photos of you are amazing!
