Brave New Me

It’s a brave me here tackling the mountain of laundry that waits down in the garage. I’m brave going to the gym earlier too. I’ll start a load, go to the gym, jog in the pool, do aerobics, then come home and start another load.

Dinners for the week have been bought so I don’t have to worry about them. Last night meatloaf. Baked squash another night with salad and a veggie. On another we will have meatloaf sandwiches and slaw, and there’s baked potatoes. G really likes that kielbasa with red cabbage, apples, and onion with a soupcon of balsamic vinegar dinner. So do I.

Can I even remember the words kielbasa or balsamic this morning? No. I’ll take a vitamin with my yogurt after the pool and hope it helps. If you want me, I will be running up and down the stairs doing laundry all day. I’ll put the tax papers in order by date, and begin a review of those Nazi articles prior to putting them together for a chap book. That shouldn’t take long…..she says laughing at herself, as I plan to get some photo scanning in too while reading favorite blogs and reading more blogs…..

Can I even remember my own name this morning?

  1. I am exhausted just reading your blog. Although my health has improved I am becoming addicted to lying about and doing nothing! Heading to the doctor early tomorrow morning for my ankle so that I will be forced to go back to exercising with his blessing.

  2. OMG you must be in a manic phase. I got tired reading the list of "to do" items this fine day. On the other hand, maybe you did them yesterday?? Dianne

  4. I'm impressed but now I think I must take a nap in your honor. I'm slowly moving past holiday mode.

  5. All that exercise! Gotta be good for you! (I must be getting better myself, 'cause I came by yesterday before you were up; that rarely happens!) And I only know for sure what I'm having for dinner -- most of time anyway -- a couple of hours before. I envy your organizing skills.

  6. You are ambitious. My to-do lists never have dates on them. They could be for today, tomorrow or even next year. Sometimes I do set deadlines, though.

  7. WOW! You tackled the world today! I find that I am inspired to do things too, and when getting home from work I want to finish those crochet hats and this little blanket NOW. And then do a little photoshop work. And maybe a page in the art journal. When my husband hears a list like this, he always asks me if I want to wash the truck while I am at it. LOL!

So tonight, the blanket is at the top of the list.

Hope you had a LOVELY productive day. And Mage, you have a lovely name. Let me know if you need me to remind you.

  8. I'm ashamed to say my mother does most of our laundry. Sigh... she insists on it.
