ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

Lessa and Aaron in 1989.

Yesterday was one of those doze at the computer days. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz….

Oh, I got a lot done. After swimming, I reviewed all five of the Nazi essays then turned to scanning after lunch. Yes, it was delightful to see pictures of grandson Aaron as a baby….what a round faced cutie he was, but it was a rather endless project. I caught my chin hitting my chest a few times and had to force myself to wake up and move on to anything else.

Today I wake up and move back out into the world. Thrift store pictures and books and stuff will keep me happy joyous and free until mid afternoon. I’ll finish the S. N. Lewett space opera over a cuppa tea before dinner out and a meeting. That will improve the happiness quotient without bouncing my chin off my chest tho I'm happy anyway today. I like Friday the 13th's as I met the Geezer on that date.

Obviously I need to find a new way of scanning that won’t toss me into the arms of Morpheus.

  1. I think it's remarkable that you can sleep sitting up!! But then again, I just think you're remarkable. :)

Mage -- You're probably right about my 'methods' violating everyone's rights -- but isn't that just soooo very ironic?

  3. My sympathy to you. Scanning photos can be a long, tedious, and boring process.

  4. Oh those chubby cheeks. Do you remember Father Martin? David laughed at me because I went up to Father Martin and told him I wanted to chuck his chubby cheeks, then I did. Dianne

  6. You are making me feel worse. I have not organized any of my current photos and only scanned a tiny of the oldies but goodies. I need to back up everything since September...lazy. I need to back up my PC by the way! Lazy me.

  8. When I look at old photos, it makes me sad because those days are gone...but at the time, I probably didn't appreciate all the good times either....Great photos...he's grown up well.

  10. Great pictures, what a wonderful family you have! I had my daughter come and scan all my mother's old pictures and put them into books. It took her months with the scanner, which she even took home sometimes. I still don't think we got EVERYTHING, but we certainly got a lot into the computer.

  11. I'm standing up and doing my scanning. It really is a tedious process. I have a lot to do still. Once I get started on another year or travel album, it consumes me so I can't blog visit. I'm trying to alternate.

Seeing that beautiful photo of that adorable child makes scanning worthwhile though.
