Sunset Ducks

On my porch yesterday was a nice sized box with a nasty hole punched in it. “Arrived Damaged,” said the sticker. I hurriedly put down my water and pile of books then raced the box into the kitchen counter. Only art would come in a nice flat box.

As I cut it open, I noted the wonderful art work along the bottom border of the box done by Tabor’s grandson for the art giveaway and charity donation. The photograph was intact. There had been some pressure placed on the canvas and emulsion, but there was no damage to the piece.

I was flat our jazzed to see it…and it’s even more beautiful in person.

I will be donating my Tabor’s donation to the American Cancer Society. Thank you so much Tabor.

I hung it in the living room, photographed it with and without my petit point kitty, then photographed the box. That’s art too as the family sits down to steaming plates and as they fish the deep blue seas for dinner.

  2. Yes I thought the ducks were at the bottom when I saw it before but it is gorgeous.
