Waiting for Next Week

Shelter Island Commercial Basin, 2011.

Both G and I felt almost human yesterday. We both coughed and hacked a bit, but we both got out there in the world and did things. He visited a nice collection of wrecks, and I brought four bags of books home to price. He and I both finished our workdays together here on the computer, I with a collection of hundred dollar books.

Our appetites returned too: Baked potatoe, roasted asparagus, and a veggie rich tossed green salad. The food smelled, looked and tasted great. We finished the day off with double the NCIS. Addicts are us for the first series, but the edgier, hard character second series only won our loyalty one person at a time. We are devoted now, especially to Hetty, and find ourselves strung out into a two-parter waiting for the real bad guy to be revealed.

  1. Giant boxes of books, jewelry, NCIS, good health, sounds as if you are indeed in recovery. Dianne

  5. Wonder if the donor knew those books were worth 100 dollars. Feeling normal can feel so wonderful.
