Crisp and Cold

Summer Surprise.

The air is crisp, the sun is still out, and I am looking for some of 2012’s best shots to share with you this chilly morning.

Some of my best work is done on or near the water.  I love clear days and details on the ships.

Actually, I love repetitious details any which way I can get them.

Sometimes you just have to laugh as with this row of tired bras at a thrift store.  Not my store, mind you.

I rarely do well with the big view often just creating more boredom, but I love to crawl right in and capture the tiny stuff.

Then again, sometimes the tiny stuff works well in a broader view too as in this portrait of my friend Bee.

  • Reading:  You all, at the moment.
  • Balance:  Does blowing my nose help?

    1. Some very fine shots, here. I can see why they're your favourites. I especially love the one of your friend.

And if blowing your nose helps you to achieve balance, by all means blow away. Here's a tissue. :)

    4. I've been such a bad blogger recently, and I realize how much I've missed your posts by not reading consistently. Thanks for rewarding my reading today with these great photos. I love the bra photo! The one of your phone is just wonderful.

    6. Oh the dreaded cold season is back. I tend to avoid places where ill humans have been such as theaters.

My kids came to visit last night and daughter was sick all over the place. Must be from those kids she teaches?? Sometimes the germs come to visit???

Love your photography. You are so clever. I wish I was.
