Diving In

He’s off to North County for a couple of days.  I’ll be grabbing the moment to do some rewriting and continue my hunt for my old water jar.  Why do I need a water jar, you ask.  I need a clean source of water to rinse my brushes, to dilute the colors, and to wet down the paper for wet work.

I need to do some not-so-original research for my “Book Report” on Hitler’s library too.  I wrote a small blog entry that will do as a starting point, but I want to expand on it.

Life is pretty darned good today.

  • Keeping those on the east coast in my thoughts.

  • Himself:  He’s lost 11 pounds despite his birthday dinner.

  • Herself:  Read news, swim, hot tub, post blogs when I have the time, read your blogs but maybe not note, write, lunch, paint, start dinner, read, eat write endlessly.  Tuesdays will be tight as I get out of the pool at 0815, and class begins at 0900.

  • Reading:  Galbraith.

  • Balance:  Today: Eating meals by myself with a book.  I love doing that.

    1. Congrats to you on your day and to Himself on that weight loss.

And wow! When you decide to vanquish boredom, you emerge definitely triumphant. Thanks for image of a lovely quilt.

    3. I hate your ability to obligate your time so well...well, you know that I do not hate it, I do admire it immensely. You are in a very good place in your life right now it seems. Love that quilt, my favorite thus far as it looks like stained glass.

    5. How is men can lose weight so much faster than the women? AND eat birthday dinners?! Nice quilts here and up there too.
