I finished the Comic Con piece, rewrote it, edited it, and
ruined my diet with a bit of wonderful liverwurst and mayo for lunch. Oh heaven.
Now at least the Liverwurst is done and out of the house.
I’m running at half speed today. Frankly I was annoyed that Bee didn’t call me
after going in for adjustments on her face lift. “I look forty,” she happily told me. “I look eighty,” I thought. Nearing that, actually. Perhaps I am having an attack of the jealousies.
Two Ibuprofen helped.
I normally don’t whine, but my hands hurt, my leg hurts, and my head hurts,
while my nose runs. All at the same
time. I changed the seat I write from,
and we will see if height helps the aches.
G’s not going to his meeting tonight either…outside in the cold and the
rain. Perhaps we can make some
togetherness time. That will improve
things.

I couldn’t even talk with Bee yesterday. It was if all the aches and pains won and I
was an over cooked veggie. Better today….that’s
progress.
I got the call that the piece I took in to the framers was
done…but it wasn’t. The order said
double matt, and I discovered a single matt.
That’s the second time in a row there was an error. I’ve given them one more chance, and if this
latest piece doesn’t come out right, I’ll move my business.
Now off to the pool, from there to school, and home to cut
in my corrections. A huge storm is
expected to blow through about the time I get out of school. Yes, I will take my umbrella and park as near
to the front door as I can.
I don't know how old you are, but your memories and photos tell me you are a little younger than I.
ReplyDeleteSo I can safely say you don't look eighty, because you don't look older than I.
Feel better.
You are only as old as you feel and I think you have the best attitude.....loved the photos as always.
ReplyDeleteSometimes that Handicapped Placard is a blessing. Used my in CA when with my son and his family. Very nice. My fingers hurt like crazy. I blame the cold. Dianne
ReplyDeleteYour experience with the framers reminds me of an optician who took weeks to do my glasses. Reason? He installed plastic lenses, realized his mistake, and had to mail my frames to the mainland to have real glass put in. Yes, back then, I preferred glass to plastic.
ReplyDeleteAnother optician: They erred with the prescription and had to re-do the left lens because it was blurry.
These are such fun photos, Mage. How amazing it must be to go to Comic Con.
ReplyDeleteCome on Mage! You DO NOT look 80! And the smile on your face will always make you young at heart.
