What's a Lowrider?

It’s a car or truck that rides low to the ground.

It’s an auto-centric part of the Hispanic community.

It’s a work of art too.

And as a final fillip, it’s a work of art that raises and lowers itself, it bounces, and it tilts all due to the elaborate hydraulics that are usually found in the trunk of a car or bed or a truck like these.

  • Keeping those on the east coast in my thoughts.
  • Himself:  Hunting for a cheap car/truck/ or suv for Lessa as hers ate four things at once.
  • Herself:  Determined to support her no matter what.
  • Reading:  Space Opera: Moon’s Vatta series/
  • Template:  Still having to use the WYSIWYG editor on Blogger, and change the title at OD so the entry shows up.
  • Balance:  Reading.

    1. Thanks for the explanation. Not quite what I was looking for, though. I like a car that I, a short woman, can get into without climbing and grabbing the "oh-hello" handle.

    2. I did not know what a lowrider was until I read your post. Just assumed it was a pair of jeans or a motorcycle.

    3. And here I thought it was when the top of my son's boxers showed over the waist of his jeans. :)

    4. I think of motorcycles when I hear the word lowrider. Looking at these cars I can tell you they would not work for me. I'm too old to get down on my knees to get into a car. Coming out would be even worse. Not for me.
