Yes, Yes, and Yes!!

A “Surprise” closeup.

It’s busy down on the bay today.  The SURPRISE has returned to her dock after dry-docking.  And while I was jumping up and down in the pool this morning, the USS REAGAN returned from a year long overhaul in Bremerton WA.  I was thinking I could run by the SURPRISE and stop by the San SAN SALVADOR while I was out in the world.  Maybe I could see the REAGAN too.

You should have heard me talking to myself as I came upstairs this morning.  A regular dialogue.  Cheering myself on this day off.

”Yes it’s grey, but it’s not going to rain.  You probably have missed the REAGAN but you haven’t missed the other two.  No, you are not sitting upstairs on the computer all day.  Yes too, you are not reading all day.

Yes three, Mid-morning, the Geezer and I are heading to our CPA’s office to sign things and pick up the taxes.  That’s very important.

Yes, Canal-book wise, I have gotten through the details of the fabled French failure at Panama.  I’m a few pages into the TR era now.  Skimming the index, I didn’t see any mention of the firm, Cutler Hammer.  They were the company that did the lock controls.  Of course my cousins and I would like to have had Cutler Hammer and our Gimpa mentioned…even in passing.  Then again, I hadn’t remembered the book being so heavy in detail the first time I read it.

Yes five, the insurance company must have said yes as I have been knee deep in hip doctor’s this morning.  I go in after the four days at Comic Con July 25 for the surgery.  The first preop is July one, the second July 8.

We have progress if not liftoff.

  • Keeping those on the east coast in my thoughts.

  • Himself:  ”Taxxxxxxxxes……….they’ll be filed.”

  • Herself:  Reading.  LOL

  • Reading:  The Path Between the Seas.

  • Balance:  Feeling positive about the actions I am taking.

    1. We're speaking of knee surgery--no, I think it's the hip, correct? Hubby just had a little shoulder do. They took off a bone spur. I'm sure replacement is much harder, but I think it'll be worth it in the long run!

    2. Knee or hip, I'll probably be a candidate one of these days. I want to hear all about it, and I'll be pulling for your speedy recovery.
