A Quiet Two Days

The Californian heading out past bouy one.

We had a lovely, quiet weekend doing what we could.

  • Keeping those on the east coast in my thoughts.
  • Himself:  Found one expensive shutter at Lowe’s that will work in the upstairs bath.  Bought it.  Cleaned out half his closet.  Moved all but the sofa down to the garage.  Set a date with Lessa when we would arrive with sofa and dresser.
  • Herself:  Stayed out of his way.
  • Reading:  Finished the newest Pitt mystery and loved the ending.  Airport authority is installing new triple pained windows, new doors, and HVAC for those of us who live under the flight path.  We will have deliciously quiet lives but cannot sue if they crash into us.  It’s all Free.

    4. Your photos are to die for. I love them. Looking at oil paintings this AM. Need you here to advise me. Beginning to really like abstract stuff....scary. Dianne

PS I sympathize with all who fear math. I had much difficulty with it myself. Never give up, I say. Inch by inch its a cinch, yard by yard its hard.

    6. I think you are correct. The photo was a geranium. Changed it to one I think is an Imatien flower, but wrong color. Mine are Salmon colored, but baby plants so I don't have a photo of my own. Thanks.

PS You and David could form a band. Around here the folks who drink tend to be in politics. Remember the Senator who got in the fountain with the stripper Fanny Fox? He was David's first sponsor. Dead now, however.
