It's Rather Dead

All week he had been blaming me for the troubles I had been having.  At first it was my browser.  Changed browser.  Yesterday and today, it was a virus or trojan horse.  Nope, the computer, after a great struggle with a diagnostic on the hard disk, and the diagnostic told the great Geezer that the hard drive had failed.

"Poopers," he said, "They are not supposed to do that."

All of it's contents are backed up on two external hard drives, and after a giant struggle the old XP computer is reborn for the emergency.

  2. Hubby finally brought his laptop upstairs to tell me that my directions for creating a group email were not working for him. I sat down with him and noticed that he uses Windows email and not the Comcast email we pay for. He had no idea that there was more than one email client out in the digital sphere. He could not tell me where his email folders were being saved, so I told him to stick to Windows...although some IT nerd had told me that is was not safe!

  6. Thank you for reminding me to do some back ups. You just never know when the computer is going to poop out. So sorry for all your computer headaches.
