Best Day* EDIT 1

Yesterday was my best day ever since surgery.

The stitches came out.  Truth is, the scar is huge because I am so fat.  I walked the halls without a belt around my waist but with a walker, but, best of all, I climbed enough stairs to get me to my own bed.   Almost as good, I only got up twice in the night to go to the bathroom.

Yes, it was only one day, eleven days, since the surgery, but it was a great day.

1320: Again, march, weights, stretches, climb stairs, fall asleep this time in my book this morning.  Made my CNA laugh when she brought lunch.  Chicken again...the chicken alone will drive me out of here.  Doctor: Would I like to get out of here?  Would I indeed....Friday.  Thursday will be the last chicken day.  Imagine. Home.

  3. Remember, if you're walking around without a belt and your pants don't fall down, you are ahead of the game!

May you continue to do well!

  6. I have been away...on travel...if not too lazy will share, but trying to catch up. 11 days! Wow, you are doing a lot for such a short time. I figured it would be a couple of weeks before stairs could be attempted. It is all downhill from here on
