Catching the Images

Moving right along.

That’s me, moving right along.

Three warriors.  It’s easy to capture hundreds of shots like these, but only a few offer the color drama these three do.

This morning, I took a look at some of my pictures from this last year.  Comic Con images give you some of the best drama around.  Some of the best touch your heart stuff too.  These aren’t necessarily the best shots I took those days, but they caught my eye this morning.

I loved her smile.

Other things were just so quirky, that I had to stop and capture them.  I often cropped them closely yet tried not to lose the force of the subject while eliminating distractions.

Angry Little Girls…indeed.

I’ve had a lot of fun this year with my camera, and I hope you have enjoyed these images as much as I’ve had in sharing them.

  • Keeping those on the east coast in my thoughts.
  • Himself:  Shopping.  Grocery shopping too.  Museum this afternoon.  Going to the Auto Show on the first.
  • Herself:  G bought me a lovely new coat.  I still should repair my threadbare wool one.  Macy’s day after sale: 174 full price to 34 sale price.  And it fits.  I’m really appreciative.  Out to dinner tonight.
  • Reading:  Sue Grafton, “P.”
  • The 12 Days of Christmas:  I’m annoyed when folks take their lights and tree down on December 28th

    1. Are these Catholic days or Christian Days. I am a Sagittarian and we tend to want to rush to completion to begin on the next project...so...I really would like to get my tree down by New Years!

    2. Christian days. LOL January 5 if you are sticking to the schedule. We expect our Christian neighbor to take his lights down today.

    4. Oh thanks for that. 12 nights indeed.

You will laugh at me, I got another dog. We will pick him up from the shelter on Monday. He's five years old and his name is Kimbo. He's a little chiwauwau. I know I can't spell it. Like my brother's dog Rosita, but he's white. lovely disposition. Johnny barked at him and Kimbo rolled on his back and ignored him.

      David says whatever….

New coat? How nice George is.

    5. Some of Grafton's alphabet mysteries are better than others. I found a comment of mine about that one: "P Is for P.U." 8-)

    6. These images were new to me. I am still smiling at all the little angry girls. I am looking forward to another year of your observations, both visual and verbal.
