Focus

Above: The Christmas balls in the banner are a direct upload, the tree isn’t.  It looks out of focus because of the photo host limits.  Below: Mexican painted tin, polyurethane by G.

Then there’s the crèche.  It too is out of focus on the photo host.  I’m encouraged that not all my world is out of focus.  Sometimes it takes a little effort to discover this tho.

We live near a High School.  Not making left turns out of the complex lets me remain unscathed by the kids driving at speed up the hill.  Grumpy’s bow sneaks out so I can focus around parked cars, and this is dangerous.  I don’t see the kids, and the kids don’t slow down.  If one of them hit me in their tiny cars, they would be badly hurt.  That happened twice this week.

Now I leave out of a different exit making a right hand turn.  Just like the UPS folks.  In focus as are most of my photographs on my hard drive.

Life is Really in the Footnotes:
  • http://geeeee-zer.blogspot.com/>Himself: Worked hard yesterday on his own stuff too.  NCIS tonight.
  • Herself:  Long nap.  Errands.  I like days like this.

  1. I used to use Photobucket to host my images but as soon as I began paying for more bandwidth and unlimited hosting, they began to compromise the quality of my photos. I began using Flickr a couple of years ago and they've been just fine.

  2. I used Photobucket too. Flickr works well. I also bought an external hard drive for $99 at Costco that can hold something like.....120,000 images.

  3. Beautiful!! Looks focused to me, but you know how that is. I;m cross-eyed after I crochet a while.

I am amazed at all the nooks and crannies for your nativity scene and other interesting things. Dianne.

  4. You are the only person I know who has books on shelves with their original jackets all shiny, just like in the movies. I am going to get out the nativity made of bamboo, now. My son and DIL are coming and she will like it. It takes up a lot of room, but it is for the season.

  5. I'm smiling at your "out of focus" comments; to me an "out of focus" photo means it's so fuzzy I can't recognise the subject. (And oh, I've had quite a few of those!) I'm glad you realised it was your photo host that is the problem.

  8. Your photos don't look out of focus at all. They're a lot clearer than mine. They look very beautiful, Mage.
