...But Slowly

Random carpet shot in action on the Island Breeze.  2014.

  • Himself:  Worked hard yet spoiled me rotten.
  • Herself:  No more “Word Verification.”  So sorry about that.  For a while I was getting almost a hundred spam a day.  Work: I lasted two and a half hours at work.  Food: He made breakfast and lunch, I scrubbed two potatoes for dinner and through together two salads.  Life is very simple these days.  The muscle that snapped is on the side and in back of the last two surgeries.  I’m not impressed.
  • Facebook today:  I’ll put together an album of more of Peter Knego’s art and artifacts.  Later today.  Wonderful stuff.
  • Reading:  Still JA Jance’s Beaumont.  Here’s a link to her blog: JA Jance’s Blog
  • Balance:  Heat and gentle movement.

    1. I was waiting to get my hair cut when I heard a loud noise and looked outside to see an overweight lady of about 55 on the ground with a pained expression on her face. She has missed a (UNMARKED AND HIDDEN) step and was in a bit of shock. Several of us rushed to her aid and helped her gather he wits and get to the beauty shop. When we asked about pain she said she had a bad back and could not tell if there was any new pain since it hurt so much!! So, count your blessings I guess.

    3. Ouch! Sorry about that snapped muscle and spasming of the other back muscles. As you follow the suggestions for healing, know that I'm thinking about you and praying for you.

    5. Tabor's comment reminded me of the occasions I have tripped/ fallen. Personally I need a moment or two to collect myself. I think it is better if people don't immediately rush to get you on your feet again. I know it is embarassing and one feels an idiot but it happens to us all from time to time - no matter how careful we think we are being.

    7. I sure hope your back is feeling better by now. I slipped on a wet terrazzo floor at a pet shop at the mall one morning...Do you think any of the employees came to see if I was ok? Nope..not until I walked outside and sat down, then the manager wanted me to sign a release.....I didn't but I was not hurt.

    8. You must be incognito on Facebook. I searched through all my friends and could not find you anywhere.

    9. Sorry life is not too comfortable for you right now. I have been AWOL with much busyness, but should be better behaved now. :)
