Most of this last week has vanished in a great blur. Common colds do that to the brain. Most days I couldn’t hear. One day I couldn’t see. All days I couldn’t think. I plodded through doing the best I could to stay away from folks…no hugs, no handshakes, no contact at all if I could help it.
This morning I woke slightly clearer all around. Slowly there’s progress.
- Himself: At work and doing fine. Now eats a piece of bread before his meds. No more nausea in the mornings.
- Herself: Need to get some groceries in like the G’s breakfast Grape Nuts.
- Reading: Having a wonderful time with “White House Chef.”
- Balance: My focus has been to get well. I think the key to getting well has been the long afternoon naps.
Hugging you from way over here!
ReplyDeleteGet well soon...an afternoon nap sounds wonderful!
ReplyDeleteDavid can nap, I can't. Seems like a wasted amount of time for me.. Life is so short!
ReplyDeleteAfternoon naps can be wonderful. I hope you continue to improve.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you're feeling better, Mage. I cannot afford to get sick right now. Our lives are just too hectic. Even blogging has become difficult.
