30 Photos in 30 Day Challenge: 2

“Tower 4.”  This year the San Diego Lifeguards celebrate 100 years of service.  I didn’t make any effort in any way to get this photograph.  The lifeguard towers were stored for the winter in Ocean Beach.  I drove by and pointed my camera.  Serendipity indeed.

I shoot with an old Canon PowerShot A650is that I drop often, unfortunately.  I manipulate the images with Photoshop Elements 10 using a vague memory of darkroom techniques taught me by PAH from Art Center in LA.

  • Himself:  Well enough to transfer all his 401’s tomorrow, well enough to be able to laugh at himself again.  Still has a truly ugly cough.

  • Herself:  Inching back into a routine.  Pool, worked on photos, groceries, library, that sort of thing.  Had a good chat with Bobbie.  Now NCIS.

  • Reading:  One ofo Anne Perry’s Christmas Sagas.  Well done.

  • Balance:  Reading.

    1. I have to admit that many of my best shots are snapshots and many of my well-planned photos are carp...yes that is what I mean.
