Janey

We stopped by an estate sale yesterday.

I waited for a while for a friend at Starbucks, but she didn’t show.  When I couldn’t get the truck into the garage through the neighbors Christmas takedown, I called G and said, “Let’s go to the Bishop Estate Sale.”

There was amazingly beautiful stuff everywhere.  Lots of things Poolie would like.  Marvelous hand thrown pottery I liked but have no room for, and a back yard filled with plastics.  Comeback next week they told us, “We still have two storage rooms and the garage to go through.”  I’ll give Poolie the address too.

Lunch, a nap while G headed off to work, and hours more of working with black and white.  This photo of my friend Janey, I couldn’t get a balance of clear blacks and clear whites.  Too much grain too.  Another reject…but other’s are good.  Once I get thirty of them all in a row, I will share them with you all.

  • Himself:  Feeling slightly better.

  • Herself:  Chocolaate muffin for breakfast, now blog, and three facebook accounts.

  • Reading:  An early Perry.

  • Balance:  Feeling better.  Hand not.

    4. A great capture of someone in unselfconscious mode. Yes, grainy, but that is the problem with so many older photos. If you get them smooth, they lose life and look artificial. Looking forward to your 30.

    5. A great photo to help lessen the fear of those who are afraid of clowns.

    7. What a fun, happy photo! I do love Estate sales, but I cannot buy anything else. I'm trying to downsize, especially when Art never throws anything away.
