Maritime Museum
2007: L to R: Medea, Berkeley, Surprise, Russian Sub, Star of India.
I’m looking forward to the
upcoming busy weekend. Today I am
beginning to sketch out a bit on sail training ships, tomorrow morning we are
doing breakfast with Captain Poolie and her sister before I go to work, and
Saturday it will be gym and fireworks.
Who knows if I can walk
from the trolley to the Maritime Museum, but I’m going. That’s the big thing for the forth. We will be having an old fashioned picnic
then fireworks viewing off the stern of the ferryboat BERKELEY. Since
we are going to the early dinner seating, we should be able to take a tour on
the Swift Boat or the Pilot before eating.
If the fog isn’t too bad
this weekend, I might get some good shots for you. I flat out love fireworks.
Have a great time. It sounds fabulous, especially the boat tour. I am going to go watch the fireworks this 4th too. My sis and her son are coming, there's a 4th fest in the biggest park here too. Small town but fun if we don't wither from the heat. Hats and water in order.
ReplyDeleteI used to love fireworks, now they are sort of eh? to me. I guess I may be turning into a curmudgeon. I want to go to them with the grandkids, but they always have plans elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteHappiness is an old pair of Khacki pants. Congratulations. What's this lymphodema stuff? MY Ex had that around his heart.
ReplyDeletei look forward to comparing fireworks pics, then. i plan to be at South Street seaport Museum watching the pyros.
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to do this. I am glad we are going.
ReplyDeleteLiving in a place where nothing grand happens on the 4th, I envy you.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the day and the weekend. Someday, I must try to take fireworks pics.
