Antihistamines

There’s always something new at quilt shows.  This time I saw Quilt’n With Soul.  Not only a booth filled with Afrocentric fabrics, but later I sat with a table of ladies who had bussed down from LA for the show.  Those ladies and their enthusiasms made me feel palid.

Last night I took the last half Benadryl.  No more spots anywhere, so given a day or so grace, no more Benadryl.  The problem with this pill is that not only does it help get rid of allergic reactions, it puts me to sleep well into noon of the following day.  I was well aware that I dozed the morning away here at my computer, but I did get some significant research completed.

  • Himself:  He took me out for the last Birthday Dinner Wednesday night at the Brigantine on a coupon.  Dinner last night flank steak and corn on the new BBQ.  He watched the show “Hero’s.”  I didn’t.  A first.  Work and meeting today.  Tomorrow work really early as there is a big thing happening right in front of the museum.
  • Herself:  A morning on the Autobahn.  Discovered how expensive flank steak is now.  Shoulders feel great, ditto hand, almost ditto hip.  Today I sort.  Meeting
  • Reading:  An illustrated history of the Civil War.
  • Gratitudes:  The sunshine has been glorious.

    1. I love ordered where you were. I've been out of action for a few days. Costochondritis. Catching up today....a bit. Take care and watch the drugs. David has been confused lately...pain meds the therapist says.

    2. Benadryl seems to dry out my sinuses too much, and it does make me sleepy. Good luck getting those things under control.
