This
quilt is reminiscent of the last quilt I made.
Better made for sure. Here the
centers are all a deep rose holding the quilt together compositionally. It’s a good size too.
Himself: Writing estimates.
Herself: Swim, stretch, books, Facebook for
the store still down since 9/11.
Reading: An early Perry.
Gratitudes: The black and blues of the sky this
morning. The monumental amount of rain
we got yesterday. The books I get to play with today.
Your posts always have a peaceful rhythm and cheer me up for some reason...
ReplyDeleteLovely quilt. Do you still have the one you made? There's a quilt show beginning here this weekend. Looking for ideas. I'm not a great quilt maker but a friend's first grandchild is due in November and a small simple quilt might be fun. Or maybe I'm just nuts and should buy one ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat IS a nice quilt. Looks as if the drought is over. We are drowning over here. But Hilo can handle, as we always say. We expect 120 inches of rain a year and are probably going to get about that this year.
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely, but looks like wayyyy to much work for me!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you went to the quilt show.
