Delightful Futsting

Catalina Airport Tower roofs.
I played with pictures, I planned menus, I played with more pictures.

We had leftover meatloaf, potatoe patties that fell apart, half avocados, and green beans with that dangerous stuff bacon.  I learned that the potatoes were great, but I need a better technique of dealing with them.  No more crumbling in the pan, but no eggs.  Ah reality...no binders.

Tomorrow the dreaded red meat in the form of simply gorgeous pork chops.  Wednesday will see chicken pot pies and a tossed green salad…or a good slaw.  Thursday’s dinner will be decided after G’s ultrasound.  Friday: Out.  I like the sound of that.

  • Himself:  Bananas are a no as is V8, but so far everything else works including him.
  • Herself:  I loved getting out and running errands.  I liked getting a new headlight for Myrtle….gosh they are small.  Tomorrow I can go play at Tar-jay.
  • Reading:  Dick Francis’s short stories.  Really good stuff.

  • Gratitudes:  What a nice day all around.

    1. Nice flow of the tiles. They always have such a "hand" crafted look. I am sorry about the car. Are you sure you cannot buy eggbeaters for you potato patties? Hubby does eat egg beaters, but personally I do not think eggs are a problem...just my opinion unless you eat them more than twice a week.

    2. I agree with Tabor about eggs. That was the cholesterol scare from way back when. I also think they are fine to eat more than 2x/week -- red meat too, which are another misunderstood scare.
