Holiday Boutique Time


It’s that time of year again.  Holiday in November at the store….no one uses the word Christmas any more.  

We save all year for this event.  We have rooms of priced and labeled boxes just waiting to come out.  I have four whole boxes of books saved.  It’s all new stuff from last year.  I figure if the books don’t sell all the months we have them out, we can give them to Father Joe.

No, I don’t know why our holiday event starts so early this year.  But yes, late this afternoon, all the boxes come out and the contents get hung on the mantle.  Yes, I will wear my braces, and yes I’ll ride down with Bill and home with G. I will have pictures for you on our Facebook page and here tomorrow.   

  • Himself:  He announced that he’s the Good Humor” man this morning.
  • Herself:  Planning for a nap after lunch.
  • Reading:  Finishing the “Lady Bird and Lyndon” volume.
  • Gratitudes:  The sun is out, the air cool, and hardly anything hurts.

      You are way ahead of us. Our parade is in two weeks time, so we won't get too Christmassy for another week or so.

      I'm groaning already. I'm away for Christmas but there is no escape. Spent all morning doing abroad Christmas cards. At least they support Alzheimer's.
