Ducks
Sunflowers on the stairs.
I’m still working on the
living room.
Twitch this, move that,
bring a rocking chair up from the garage, add a cushion, take away a
cushion….all attempts to reach the nirvana of comfort and balance. Buy a tiny chest with legs to hold Gimpa’s
lamp. Yes, I laugh at myself, but yes
too we are no longer crowded in that room.
Himself: Feeling good. Has a scheduled gastroenterologist
appointment. Working hard on all fronts. Laughing more.
Herself: Took two Tylenol at bedtime and feel
good today. Yesterday wasn’t one of the
good days. Bought a tiny chest on sale
in a real store. Stayed extra-long at
the pool today.
Reading: More Francis.
Gratitudes: The cool air and the blue beauty of
the sky this morning. George.
The living room is better now.
ReplyDeleteWill wait patiently until you are done moving the furniture. I do not want to stub my toe or bang my knee. When I was in my late 20's I think I rearranged the furniture on a monthly basis. Now since I bought the furniture for this house, I am pretty much stuck with ow it is arranged. Except for my bedroom which I am moving stuff out and it is becoming nicely Ze.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to a picture of the new scene - it's been a while since I reaaranged. Wonder what I'll find beneath some of the furniture??
ReplyDeleteMy Lenovo seems to miss keys!! That was, of course, supposed to be Zen.
ReplyDeleteI'm all for the Zen look myself, but things keep accumulating somehow. Good for you.
ReplyDeleteA room just has to feel right. I like your sunflowers.
