…with a rush.
As everyone pulls their
decorations down from their attics, they clean their spaces too. Acres and hours of donations arrived at the
shop and kept me hopping. Just as I
started to leave, Bobbie arrived with a SUV filled with art books. Maybe I should say illustrator books.
We had five minutes of
coffee together then she was off to her sisters in a rush.
Today we take down our
stuff from our attic. Stuff indeed. At three pm, wearing three to four layers, it
will be time to head to the park’s “December Nights.” I will let you know if I survive.
Himself: G’s been having many good days. Lunch yesterday was not a success. Dinner was ok.
Tis the season to decorate, though I put it off as long as I can. The grandbabies will help this year so it is worth the effort. Good luck with yours.
ReplyDeleteWe need to go back to Target and rearrange those socks so that they spell something.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing that George wrote when I saw that photo. I was expecting you to say there was a hidden message.
ReplyDeleteGeorge is right, I was thinking the same thing myself about those socks. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm decorating with Grandkids as well. My son works at St. Vinnies and the donations have swamped them. Interesting, hope it all sells.
Well George, Tabor, Celia and I were all thinking about playing word games with the socks. I see "Old JFK" in the white stockings.
ReplyDeleteWarm greetings from Montreal, Canada. Some people here have already put out their outdoor Christmas decorations...but then again, we celebrate our Thanksgiving in October in Canada. I think it is wise to do it earlier, (referring to putting up outdoor Christmas decorations)...after all, who wants to do it when it is freezing cold? I love Christmas.
ReplyDeleteyou have a very nice blog. :)
