REMOVABLE CARBOHYDRATES

Suggested image from “Words for Wednesday,”
see Granny Annie the word mistress for January.

Documenting the network of
twisted jungle pasta
my brain avoids the grace
of thinking about it.

It’s his birthday
and I try hard not to surrender
to his passion for those cooked
grains, those addictive

carbohydrates
we removed from his life
as our morbid obesity
opens the door to death.

Words for Wednesday the 25th of January.

    1. By the way, hubby's favorite food is cooked spaghetti fried in butter or olive oil.
