Last week the Comic Con folks let everyone know that this weekend would be ticket sale time. Last year, after a long wait and struggle online, we received tickets for one day each. It was a big disappointment.
This year, just like last year, G got to the room early, had two browsers open, and had his cell going also. One of his coworkers, Don, at the museum goes. G could buy tickets for three returning ticketholders as could Don and his brother. Don had two browsers open and his phone to text with George. Don’s brother had two browsers open. Don’s nice new wife didn’t go last year, so none of us could buy her a ticket. Yes, it gets complicated and with a language all of its own.
Then POOF! George was allowed to buy four tickets for himself, four days for me, and four days for Don. Don got four days for his brother. George has begun working on a costume for the event….one that’s a lot cooler.
Now waiting for the Volunteer badges.
