WAITING

Last year at Comic Com, we both volunteered in the Portfolio Area.  Here, small businesses and large corporations like Disney or Scribner’s take a tiny booth, and folks sign up and line up to have someone to look at their work.  One man said he came from Australia.  “There’s nothing like this down there,” he told me.

Art, music, drawing, photography, scripts…they are all looked at fairly.

What a chance, and for us, it was a wonderful way to give back.

  2. How cool ... who knows, one day you may be able to say, "I saw samples of their work before they became famous!"
