Was it because I got in the hot tub Monday after swimming? That spot shot sharp pains up my leg all day
yesterday, and the pains kept me awake last night. Sometimes one questions everything.
Today, remembering that Monday I had also forgotten my towel, I grabbed
the first one off the pile. I grabbed at my driver’s license, hat…for I
wear a visor in the pool, long sleeved swim shirt, bag, all that stuff I’m
supposed to take to the pool.
I got there and discovered that I did NOT have the waterproof Band-Aid OR
driver’s license. I did have a VISA
card. At least I had a towel. Later I got to the hair dresser without my front tooth. Sometimes all you can do is laugh at
yourself.

- Himself: PT twice a week. This is the only day that he does it mid-day. So he was at work at 6.
- Myself: Pool, Haircut, finish book.
- Reading: Dr. Death…and I am down to the last few pages. What a convoluted story.
- Gratitude’s: Had a fun day with the Friends of the Library yesterday.

ReplyDeleteIf you still get your hair cut, that means you have care about yourself. Maybe the pain in the leg is a healing thing. Sometimes healing is painful. Glad you are keeping your schedule. Maybe I should join a Friends of the Library?
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of care for myself. Most of the time, I laugh at myself while I am doing the caretaking, bandaging, and adding the extras that make life whole...like glasses, teeth, and ears. LOL I hope it is a healing thing. I keep to my schedule only because I am the laziest person you know so I dynamite myself out of bed and in the water three days a week. I find it really makes my life better. Working with all those books makes my life even better. Why not join. :) Every library needs help right now.
DeleteDo check lists help — but then can forget to use them — good to challenge the mind — wouldn’t want to get too structured. Ha
