The Cabrillo Lighthouse on top of Point Loma.
Playing with my newest Star of India Photos has kept me busy. No one posted anything good on http://www.shipspotting.com about the Star’s sailing. In reaction, I
posted my first picture of her there. It was the bottom shot I posted here yesterday as she neared the dock. I’ve been a member for years, but this is the
first time I posted any shot. I’ve been
foolishly childish thinking my photos not good enough.
And I note that through the years, every time we go up to shoot the Star,
we always take lots of photos of the lighthouse too. You see one today…barely Photo-shopped. LOL
George’s knee is vastly better. PT
starts Monday, and that’s wonderful.
Unfortunately this prolonged period of sedentariness hasn’t been good
for his soul. He’s cranky and humorless. Even snapping at me. Grrrrr…….
My shin is red but not infected.
With one brand of waterproof band-aid that actually works, I’m back in
the pool. Slowly. I come home and almost doze…but triumphantly.

- Himself: Walking better every day, but cranky.
- Myself: Fat but pleased with myself. Not at all good with my phone yet. Downloaded google but now can’t find a thing.
- Reading: An old Johnathan Kellerman.
- Gratitude’s: Sunshine, the Pool, and Sometimes George.
Getting used to new anything is such a pain in the ass. Glad therapy begins soon for George. The lighthouse photo is quite nice. Such a blue sky offsetting the seer vegetation.
ReplyDeleteLighthouses are great to photo, they always look good to me. May George feel better soon, good for you and good for him.
ReplyDeletePeople who are overly critical of their art are usually the most talented. I, on the other hand, love posting all of my photos! I am so sorry he is cranky, but are you not glad it is you instead of someone less forgiving? I am glad you are both out and about, though.
ReplyDeleteThe lighthouse is very different from those here.
ReplyDeleteI hope G is in better humour soon. The therapy may help!
Yes, that's the kind we have all up and down the coast her.
DeleteYou might be interested in Duck Duck Go as a search engine. It does not track you, as google does. More here: https://duckduckgo.com/
ReplyDeleteScroll down when you get there. We've used it for years.
That photo looks good to me! Glad George’s knee doing well as is your shin. You two may actually get better.
ReplyDeleteWe all do love lighthouses, don't we?
ReplyDeleteLighthouses always seem to hold a story for me. Think George will feel better when he starts PT. It is hard sitting around doing nothing.
