GLIMPSES

2017 Reenactors at the Cabrillo Lighthouse on top of the Point.

Life is getting better all around.  George’s cold seems to be vanishing quickly which leaves me to believe it was an allergy.  My knee was slightly better as was his, but he stayed home from the meeting.

For months I’ve been having knee indigestion and not mentioning it.  I hate whiners.  This afternoon, I stood up, started to turn, and it gave out with a great deal of pain.  Now I am not trying to compete with G and his knee, but here I am wearing his brace and my compression stockings, and telling Milaka that she was right and I shouldn’t have sat with my knees under me.  Yes, I am not impressed with myself.

It’s a beautiful day.  So many of you are suffering with rain, snow, wind, and all those other weather things.  I wish I could send you our day.  I got a good walk in at the pool.  I came to doze at my computer since I didn’t sleep well last night.  Just that almost till lunch.

Virtue is getting your thank you notes out.  LOL

  • Myself:  Almost to the Obama election while nursing my knee.  He will take me to the doc on Monday.
  • Reading:  …and my Friend Camille is reading it too.  We are comparing notes.
  • Gratitude’s:  That it was such a beautiful day.

  1. You baby that knee through to Monday, and past! And, don't feel guilty about the weather; it has to be somewhere.

  2. Sunny here but windy too so 15F feels like 2F. We went for a walk but kept it short. All the best with the knee.

  3. I pray my own knees hold out. They click every now and then, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I have enough trouble with my lower back and sciatic nerve. Hugs to you ... be gentle with your knees... I can't imagine sitting with my feet tucked under me.

  4. Pool walking sounds like it would be really good for the knee. Keep up the good work and hope the doc can make it right.

  5. So sorry about that knee. The knee I fell on sometimes gets filled with fluid and is stiff. I have not yet had it abandon me. Hubby is also getting over his cold this week...at long last.
