RENEW

A doodle in color: Mission San Juan Capistrano, inner courtyard.

·       Life moves on even if I worry about it.  The doctor’s office has not returned my calls.  I’ll know in more when I go in with G tomorrow when he gets shots.
·       He’s been working hard on his three boxes.  He thinks they may be done today…..it’s a very exciting thing.  If so, he suggested that we go up by train ourselves and deliver them.
·        Then there are dreams:  I have hopes that our tax returns will allow us to go to Disneyland:
"With this limited-time offer, you can buy a 3-Day, 1-Park Per Day Ticket for just $60 per day—a special price just for SoCal ResidentsWhen you take advantage of this great offer, you can return to the magic of Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park—and rediscover some of your favorite attractions and experiences.
·        Explore specially priced tickets for SoCal Residents:   3-Day, 1-Park Per Day Ticket: $179
With Disney MaxPass: $223-Day, Park Hopper Ticket: $234, With Disney MaxPass: $279"
·        These tickets were $50.00 yesterday.  $60.00 Today.  Sense of humor required.
·        Laundry:  Did I mention laundry?  I did a lot of loads on Monday.   Two days ago I did the pillows…and ran all the decorative pillows through the dryer.  Yes, I am coughing less but still coughing.  Today I find myself with another giant Load which includes the sheets.  The laundry requires all sorts of attributes that don’t come naturally to me.  Perseverance, acceptance, and that sense of humor once again.
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

  • Himself:  George has that sense of humor.
  • Myself:  Changing my eating patterns does work.  At least this week.  Today:  carrots for breakfast instead of my usual chocolate muffin with extra butter.  Yesterday: small veggie omelette and cottage cheese which I was allergic to.  LOL  Down 8 pounds.  Got the living room renewed but it looks naked.
  • Drawing:  Watercolor, colored pencil, and ink.
  • Reading:  Still Anna Pidgeon.
  • Gratitude’s:  Getting used to being by myself again has been interesting.  We need to do this more often.

  1. I find perseverance a requisite for laundry. Absolute, top of the list, requirement. If I had as much as you have, I might need to shoot myself in the foot.

  7. See if your doctor will open a patient portal for you. They will send you an email when ready and you can access your results right from your computer. My hospital does the same thing. Much quicker than waiting for phone calls.

    1. I have a patient portal, and I have a copy of all the results. :) This doctor uses the phone.
