While waiting to hear health
news from someone, I began work on a faux fur vest to go with my Comic Con costume. Most of the costumes are superb creations
especially the homemade ones. Lots of
time and energy has been put into them. The
minute I began cutting into my pattern, I knew I was in trouble.
It was a good choice of
faux fur. Variegated stuff….from a
distance it has a certain realism. At
the first cut, tiny bits of flying fur went everywhere. Literally.
By the end of my trimmings, the whole living room and I were covered
with little bits of grey faux fur. For
the last several days, I’ve been taking a couple of showers a day.
Perhaps
Hispanic.

ReplyDeleteLove these photos! Comic con is a feast for the eyes!
ReplyDeleteWell, my favorite photo is new banner you are using. Stunning. Really give the feel of the energy and movement in the city. I must say that I think the lady in White is going to have back problems as she ages ;-0. I also am amazed that the indoor and outdoor climate is such that people can go half naked OR where black "leather".
ReplyDeleteThose are great photos!
ReplyDeleteI think the "Perhaps Hispanic" guy might be a Basque Sheepherder. He kind of looks like one.
ReplyDeleteOh darn with the fur. I shall look forward to seeing the completed design. I have three more doctor visits scheduled too that I'm not looking forward to. I'm amazed at the photos of the costumes all those people came up with. I can just imagine the effort it took to create them.
ReplyDeleteYour furry episode sounds like a normal day around my old cat. Amazed at the creativity these folks show. Don't think I'd want to go dressed up but I would pay to sit there and watch.
