POLLYANNAISH

I follow doctor's instructions, I make appointments, and I go to them feeling a little like Pollyanna.  Always hopeful.  "This is going to be ok.  It's going to be just fine.  It's a good thing I like this doctor..." that sort of thing.

Today I had a CT scan layer by layer unveiled to both of us.  Two little blobs of emphysema.  A lymph node that was way too big, and two nodules all in the left lung.  At the very bottom were the many lines of the fibroids.

I have to tell you that I dread the biopsy that's upcoming.  I insisted that he put me to sleep.

Always hopeful.

  • Myself:  One lung.  Always Hopeful.  First day back in the pool.  New glasses almost work.

  • Gratitude’s:  G as usual.

  3. Oh Mage...
I'm so sorry for all you're going through. I know the anxiety though. I have to go in for a CT scan of my brain next week along with my sinus cavities. Sigh...

  5. I am starting to head down your path with the lungs. Think I would want to be unconscious also. Hope you get some Pollyanna like results. Let us know.

  7. Prayers that the doctors can come to a conclusion that is good for all and will get you feeling well. It's no fun being sick and feeling poorly.
