Years ago, I started a Wordpress blog.  My damaged brain didn’t handle it well, so I moved on to other formats.  Open Diary, Prosebox, and Blogger all were slightly easier for me to use.  Just a week or so ago, we changed some settings on my computer.  Getting in to pages suddenly required resetting my password for each site.

Wordpress was the only difficult one.  I’ve gone through two computers since I signed up for Wordpress.  Perhaps the information I want is on my old computer which lives unplugged-in at Margot’s house.  I need four identifying sign-in codes from Wordpress.

I kept my Wordpress blog open because I have friends who use Wordpress not Blogger.  With the changes on Blogger, they can’t leave me notes now.  I can’t even email Tugster because his email is set to Explorer only.  I’ve never activated the explorer on this computer.

Yes I read you on Wordpress.  No I cannot leave you notes.  I want to.  I shan’t stop struggling to open the Wordpress door again.  I hope you will find a note from me SOON!

  1. Changes to blogging sites are infuriating. Love the red in your header photo.

  2. So pleased I don't have that Wordpress problem. I never blogged there, just read others.

  3. Sorry you're having the WP problem. Blogger where I am keeps making changes messing some things up for some people. I guess all these tech changes are supposed to be progress but not always the case and a problem for some people. Hope all goes well for you. Glad you're continuing to do so well since home from hospital. Like this photo from the days when Disneyland open.

  5. What a bummer! I took my desktop computer to a computer guy in Mojave this morning. While we were there going through what needed to be done to my system, the friend that recommended this computer guy called them on their phone. I had to smile, wondering if he was checking to see if I followed through on their referral. I certainly did... and it's looking like I'll get an almost new computer out of the deal and I won't have to type on this itty-bitty keyboard anymore! LOL Just keep writing here and we'll be happy, even if you don't leave us a note on our blog... you can always e-mail. Love you!

  7. You know... the thing is I have way more blogger friends on Blogspot than I ever did on Wordpress. I guess that's why I gave up on the Wordpress back up blog.
