Perhaps our worlds will return to some form of normalcy in the coming year. Imagine having friends to dinner. Imagine walking into a store of any kind without a face mask on. Imagine the selfish freedom of travel, of anytime travel.
Just today, I would go hug my kids and grandkids.
Just today, I would go to two or three thrift stores.
Just today, I would go to Balboa Park and visit the flowers.
Just today I would go on a long train ride.
What will you plan to do in 2021?

In 2021 I will travel to visit family and not feel like I'm taking my life into my hands.
ReplyDeleteI get to drive up and see my children and grandchildren...but the hugging and sloppy kissing...that I truly miss. I miss my travel and I would take an expensive trip to Russia or Croatia (in spite of their recent earthquake). I would go into a bunch of stores in the city. Not to buy anything, but to see what has changed. I definately would pick out a nice restaurant and have a slow and romantic dinner. I have too many things.
ReplyDeletego to the movie. in a theater. I do get to see my grandkids and daughter on occasion. I suppose we should be more careful but I have to trust that none of them would come see me if there was any chance they were infected. they are all very careful.
