Himself: There’s work for him this morning.

Herself: Still reworking the middle of that poem. I’ll swim, dodge Marta as she cleans, and pick up Kat at the trolly station before gathering with the group.

WW foods for the day: Breakfast: Green Beans, coffee, yogurt. Lunch Half a sandwich, diet coke. Dinner: Chicken Waldorf salad. Gained a pound….all that fancy food out. Ah, well.

Purelandmountain.com offers the latest news from Japan on days he isn’t fighting his local flora and fauna.

I’m going to miss Comic-Con this year. No matter how hard G tried to get tickets, he wasn’t able to fight through the computer glitches to get us two. Darn and double darn. Tickets were sold out in seven minutes. Downtown is crowded with attendees….without us. Upscale apartments are going for four thousand dollars. The horse races started at Del Mar, and race goers can’t find rentals because the Comic Con folks have moved in for the long weekend.

  1. I had read that Comic Con may be losing its appeal. I guess the media was off on that. I am not sure why Mythbusters is there?

  2. I've read about Comic Con in the newspaper comics and wondered what it must be like. Looks like a blast.

  3. It is picking up steam(punk) every year! I don't even try for tickets, but I love the people watching. There is a geocache event associated with it this year, but I am not up for facing those enormous crowds, parking, etc.
