The Prize

He won a prize at this game.  With his mother holding a prize from another game, he ponders his choices.

  • Himself:  He’s doing laundry almost every day now.  It get’s him up from the computer.
  • Herself:  Sorting today.  Meeting tonight.
  • Reading:  Still Hillerman…so well written.
  • Balance:  Looking up from where ever I am and being grateful.

    1. Hello there. I like the stuffed Pokeman. Trouble her. Neighbor has whacked down the 50 year old Walnut tree and butchered two trees out front. Can do nothing about it. Four cops in my house earlier studying the plat map. Be happy you live where trees are protected. Even if they are full of parrots.

    2. I love the prizes! I just don't like going to the fair. Silly, I know.

    3. I remember getting a 12" plaster and sailor-suited Betty Boop at a fair in the late 40's. Kind of wish I still had it. Lol. Those games have sure kept their allure for kids (and adults).

    4. I have mixed emotions about fairs. I remember the people as somewhat creepy when I was a child, or perhaps that was just my little girl eyes. I also remember saving my money and it disappearing so fast on junk. I did like the happy spirits of the people and the colored lights in the evening, and of course, the spun sugar.

What a delight to get a note from you. Thanks for leaving one.
