Thursday: I’ve come down with a really mind numbing
cold. This first day, I am not coughing
or sneezing, so will go in to work for the big set up. I will do what I can. None of my regular co-workers could give me a
ride so I will take a cab. I’ll take a
lot of pictures tho.
Friday: Thirty middle aged to older ladies came to do
the set up. The manager’s husband had
come Wednesday evening, and he carried all the heavy boxes down stairs. Yes, we have storage upstairs. G came about five thirty, and he helped carry
boxes out. Unfortunately, I ended up sitting as my back died. I was able to price things that had been
forgotten.
Marvelous pot luck…did I
say that. And yes, I ate two chocolate desserts
with only a twinge or two of guilt. Now
this morning, I have posted a photo album of the Holiday Boutique on Facebook
and am about to shower and go back again.
I hope we have lines of folks in front waiting to buy our things to
support cancer research.
Sunglasses in the pool. Do you know how lucky to have that warm weather?
ReplyDeleteYes, and we live here on the point because it is often ten degrees cooler here. We are spoiled.
DeleteIt's sounds like the wonderful kind of sale I'd enjoy. You done good! Hope you feel better today.
ReplyDeleteYou're a real trooper.
ReplyDeleteFeel better Mage!
ReplyDeleteAchoo, day 3.
DeleteHope you have a light cold.
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping that long line eventuated and all those customers bought oodles of Christmas things. Means money in the coffers and less to pack up afterwards:)
