Queen Mary Visit: 3

The First Class Main Lounge is the second largest room on the ship. As well as the large gesso piece, the designers of the room use stone, wood, height as well as several smaller works to add depth and dimension to the space. Among these smaller works are four statues set into niches, and four bas relief’s over the four side doors. This work is one of four by Maurice Lambert entitled “Symphony.”
