Queen Mary Visit 2
Alfred J. Oakley and Gilbert Bayes carved gesso panel "Unicorns in Battle" in the First Class Main Lounge. It hangs above the forward fireplace.
In the aftmost Smoking Room aboard the Queen Mary hangs the Edward Wadsworth semi-surrealistic piece "Dressed Overall at the Quay." This work and its companion piece were among the most modern works aboard, and , according to "The Art of the RMS Queen Mary," neither were warmly welcomed in this male preserve aft.
