Our TV has worked on and off for the last three weeks. Yes, I caught some of the first day of the
hearings, but mostly the cable box isn’t working. We have internet. This is good.
Little to no news, which isn’t good.
I want to know what’s going on in the world.
George has made it his mission to get the TV’s working again. This morning, he’s running to the Cox store and
picking up another, third, cable box.
Cox’s techies tell us ours is running and connected. Not here it isn’t, so we will take the old
box with us on the way to Chemo.
This morning, Kay posted about her smile. Just seeing her words made me happy. People have been telling me how well I look
in the last few weeks too. Those words also
make me happy. I was thinking that I won’t
look that well once Chemo starts, but I will go into it with a smile. It’s what is going on in my world.

Have you in my heart Mage and especially tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI shall also be keeping you in my heart and mind, Mage. As I said, I do have a friend who just came out of it all and looks and feels wonderful. I want that for you too. You and your spirit are always beautiful to me.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much.
DeletePlease do not be afraid...I know that doesn't help. You look like an Ambassador in that photo above and after chemo you will return to normal. Listen to great music, watch great TV (not the stupid hearings) and go out in your neighborhood and take a roll-along.
ReplyDeleteYes mam. Both my kids called, and they said the same things.
DeleteGreat, now I sound like one of your kids.
DeleteWhich is very good. LOL
DeleteSending healthy thoughts your way. You're a warrior, Mage!
ReplyDeleteThinking of you today as you begin another part of this journey. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI Hope the day and the treatment goes well.
ReplyDeleteMage, you are the poster child of put together, a beautiful person. Furthermore, more and more people are surviving lung cancer. I'm counting on you to be one. Scared is OK. It can make you angry enough to kick but. I think about you every day.
ReplyDeleteIf looks count, you are looking great lady. Hoping your treatment goes smoothly and is hugely successful.
ReplyDeleteWe survived chemo AND have our TV back!
ReplyDeleteSending positive thoughts your way. One day at a time you'll get through this!
