Queen Mary: Second Class Stairs Glass 14
The top race car sandblasted into its glass is remarkably like the 1923 Essex Dirt Track Racer now in the National Automobile Museum in Reno, NV. Bare bones, it was a remarkable car for the times. (Link above.)
The second glass panel illustrates an ocean liner, a steam ship, with a small tug awaiting its arrival. Since I was so shaky in my photography, we will never see the top of this panel, but perhaps it is the just the Queen Mary returning home to Southampton after a difficult Atlantic crossing
